How do I sign up for private lessons?
New students: Please fill out this registration form to sign up for private lessons.
Returning students: If you would like to start lessons again, please email us directly.
What age should my child start private music lessons?
Our private lessons are appropriate for ages 6 and up.
We have group classes for ages 5 and up.
Please review our minor safety policy here.
Am I too old to learn an instrument?
There is no such thing as being too old to learn an instrument. We’d love to work with you!
What length of private lesson should I sign up for?
Here is what we recommend:
30 minutes (beginner musicians)
40 minutes (intermediate musicians)
50 minutes (advanced musicians)
Generally, 40-50 minute lessons are not recommended for ages 12 and under.
What if I don’t have a lot of time to practice?
That’s OK. We understand that everyone has busy lives! You will work with your instructor to set reasonable practice goals based on your availability and interest.

What if I miss a lesson?
Please do your best to inform your teacher at least 48 hours in advance if you cannot attend a scheduled lesson. You can check out our full attendance, cancellation, and holiday policies on our policies page.
What do I do if my PayPal invoice doesn’t look correct?
If your PayPal invoice doesn’t look correct, please email us before trying to issue a chargeback! We want to make sure that you are charged correctly while also not incurring steep chargeback fees on our end.
