How do I sign up for private lessons?

What age should my child start private music lessons?

• Our private lessons are appropriate for ages 6 and up.

• We have group classes for ages 5 and up.

• Please review our minor safety policy here.

Am I too old to learn an instrument?

• There is no such thing as being too old to learn an instrument. We’d love to work with you!

What length of private lesson should I sign up for?

• Here is what we recommend:

  • 30 minutes (beginner musicians)

  • 40 minutes (intermediate musicians)

  • 50 minutes (advanced musicians)

• Generally, 40-50 minute lessons are not recommended for ages 12 and under.

What if I don’t have a lot of time to practice?

• That’s OK. We understand that everyone has busy lives! You will work with your instructor to set reasonable practice goals based on your availability and interest.

What if I miss a lesson?

• Please do your best to inform your teacher at least 48 hours in advance if you cannot attend a scheduled lesson. You can check out our full attendance, cancellation, and holiday policies on our policies page.

What do I do if my PayPal invoice doesn’t look correct?

• If your PayPal invoice doesn’t look correct, please email us before trying to issue a chargeback! We want to make sure that you are charged correctly while also not incurring steep chargeback fees on our end.
